I think all those three things can be found in any of my findings of this week.Â
- Roger von Oech of Creative Think asks a “fun, imaginative question”. And fun it is! Question is
What if the use of edible clothing were widespread in our society?
What do you think would happen?
We might end with: organic clothes, GMO clothes, nutritious clothes, diet clothes; freshly fashion and farm fashion; plum, apple and watermelon sizes instead of S, M, L; fridges instead of wardrobes; no ironing; “grow your own clothes” movement.
- Need more inspiration? Read an excellent essay by Alain Briot titled Finding Inspiration. Since Alain is a professional photographer, article is more photography oriented, but it is valid in any creative process (blogging is not an exception). Fellows bloggers, read it. Besides a wonderful explanation of a relationship between inspiration and creativity, there is a chapter I like very much which shows that “inspiration is about asking why, not how”.
The answers we receive are closely related to the questions we ask. In a sense, the question contains the answer. Ask “why am I fat?†and if you are indeed overweight you will find many answers as to why this is the case. On the other hand, ask “how can I lose weight?†and if you do indeed need to lose weight you will get answers pointing to how you can regain a svelte figure. The first question leads to finding the cause of the problem. The second question leads to finding solutions to the problem.Â
- In Croatia temperatures reach 37 degrees Celsius these days and we all know why we would like to stay cool. But how to do this without turning the air conditioner on? Chris Baskind of Lighter Footstep suggest Five Unusual Ways to Stay Cool. What to say but:Â cool!

Thanks for stopping by the Creative Think blog! Your thoughts about “edible clothing” are wonderful!
Roger,
thank you for the inspiration!
It does stimulate creative thinking.
Inspiration is really wonderful. It can change the way we view things in life and our goals will become more meaningful with it.
That’s a great and fun idea. I believe it’ll do a lot more than just stimulate our creative thinking. It’s a good way of keeping our brains healthy by thinking creatively.
This is truly inspirational. His ideas are great and it’s not a question that his post inspired you. Thanks for sharing to us.
Thanks for the recommendation, that’s definitely a worthy read. It’s inspirational and really gets you thinking.
Hi everybody,
thanks for you kind words, with a little delay, though, for which I apologize.
I have read the topic finding inspiration in this blog where you gave a site(http://www.luminous-landscape.com/columns/Finding-Inspiration.shtml) here. When i went through the site, i found the article was very interesting. Especially the step by step explanation was very good. Thank you for posting this useful information.
